MOUNT VESUVIUS ERUPTION

Picture
The series of events started 4 days before August 24. Small tremors were felt throughout Pompeii, but people didn't think much of them. Between nine and ten in the morning a small explosion of ash was seen, yet people still ignored the warning signs. At one o'clock an enormous pine-tree shaped cloud of ash, pumice, and larger rocks blasted into the air, within an hour the sky seemed to turn into night. People decided to hide in their houses, but when they saw how serious it was they changed their mind and escape. At one o'clock in the morning on August 25, the eruption went into the second phase, it's deadliest. A glowing cloud went through the whole of the cities around it. At eight o'clock the eruptions ended by then nobody was alive.
